Job description
The Customer Support Engineer (CSE) role at KLA involves providing customer service support for advanced KLA products, primarily focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex capital equipment. The CSE will work closely with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and operational quality. This position requires strong technical skills in electro-mechanical systems and excellent communication abilities. The CSE will also assist in training less experienced engineers and manage service-related logistics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Understanding of and ability to troubleshoot problems in software and electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in understanding customer needs
- Ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service support for a variety of advanced KLA products.
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot technical equipment problems at customer sites.
- Maintain Preventive Maintenance schedule on KLA tools at customer sites.
- Repair and update equipment at customer sites, including system level problems.
- Prepare Field Service Reports on customer support activity and provide documentation.
- Cross-train and assist other field service engineers as needed.
- Conduct customer orientation and technical training on equipment maintenance support.
