Job description

The role focuses on network engineering within KLA's Information Technology group, which aims to enhance business growth and productivity through technology. The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and security. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to deploy and improve network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing and switching, particularly with BGP and OSPF.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and a minimum of eight years of Routing and Switching hands-on experience
  • Current CCNP/CCIE R&S or DC Certification is required
  • Experience with design and implementation of SDWAN, preferably SilverPeak
  • Additional Arista or WiFi Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Devise, plan, deploy, and improve networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors, managers, and network engineers
  • Create and monitor network performance on a regular basis
  • Resolve support issues that have intensified via the local infrastructure or fix
  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
  • Mentor team members on different technical issues
  • Create, test, and oversee security measures by implementing network enhancements
  • Communicate with users as and when required
  • Maintain and update technical reports on a timely basis
  • Suggest improvements to boost the network’s capacity, performance, and scalability
  • Stay updated about the latest developments in network technologies
