Job description
The role involves providing technical support for KLA equipment, particularly in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex optical, electro-mechanical systems, and software solutions. The KLA Services team, based in Milpitas, CA, focuses on maintaining high performance and productivity through a flexible portfolio of services. The candidate will collaborate with specialists to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires significant travel to support escalated issues on-site.
Requirements
- Master's Level Degree with related work experience of 0 years or Bachelor's Level Degree with related work experience of 2 years.
- Electrical and Mechanical experience is required, with Optical experience preferred.
- Must be able to travel 40-70% domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Respond to ongoing technical issues of KLA equipment that field product support teams cannot resolve.
- Assist field engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and debugging sophisticated equipment and software solutions.
- Collaborate with specialists to create optimized plans of action for resolving technical issues.
- Travel within the region and worldwide to support escalated issues on-site on short notice.
- Create documentation related to troubleshooting processes and technical findings.
