Job description
The Service Product Engineer role at KLA involves improving sophisticated semiconductor optical systems and supporting service teams. Requirements
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Strong experience working with high-vacuum systems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting expertise with electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency with software simulation tools.
- Strong analytic and data analysis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess products for design reliability, stability, and serviceability.
- Participate in the development and testing of system diagnostics and specifications validation.
- Facilitate information transfer between design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and field service teams.
- Capture and analyze data from systems at remote customer sites to identify issues.
- Develop and detail technical service procedures.
- Train support personnel, including tech support and customer support engineers.
- Respond to unresolved technical system performance issues with action plans.
- Write technical reports to communicate issues and recommendations.
- Champion service initiatives to improve service quality and profitability.
