Job description

The Technical Program Manager role at KLA focuses on modernizing how engineering teams build and deliver products by connecting engineering, IT, and product teams. This position is part of the Global Products Group, which is responsible for creating metrology and inspection products. The role emphasizes improving visibility, execution, and data continuity throughout the product lifecycle. The Technical Program Manager will coordinate programs that integrate key engineering and program management platforms into a cohesive development ecosystem.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in technical or engineering program management.
  • Strong understanding of engineering product development lifecycles.
  • Experience with engineering tools and platforms such as CAD/PDM, PLM, MBSE, or ALM tools.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both technical contributors and business team members.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and support multiple multi-functional digital transformation programs within the engineering organization.
  • Build and maintain program plans, schedules, dependencies, and risk registers.
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively communicate status, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate work across engineering teams, IT partners, tool owners, and external vendors as needed.
  • Contribute to initiatives that establish and strengthen digital threads across various engineering processes.
  • Support coordination of integration efforts between systems such as CAD, PDM, PLM, and program management platforms.
  • Engage directly with engineering teams to understand current-state workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Help translate engineering and business needs into clear program scopes, requirements, and delivery plans.
