The Senior Engineer Diver/Project Manager role at Jacobs is focused on leading projects within the Ports & Maritime Team. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience as engineer divers who are eager to contribute to a top-rated global practice. The role involves working collaboratively with structural engineers and managing field inspection teams. Candidates will have the opportunity to support contracts with the US Navy and other global clients while being based in or relocating to New York City.

• Substantial years of progressive experience as an Engineer Diver
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or college
• Experience leading above and underwater inspections of waterfront structures and/or bridges
• Experience designing and analyzing waterfront structures
• Professional Engineer License
• Commercial Diving Experience and ADCI Certification
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently
• Project management and structural design experience strongly preferred

• Interface with clients and project stakeholders
• Lead field inspection teams with strong communication skills
• Work collaboratively with structural engineers and CAD technicians
• Solve engineering problems and challenges
• Direct project tasks and manage projects
• Participate in client presentations and proposal efforts
