Job description

The GPU System and Scheduling Architect role at NVIDIA is focused on designing the next generation of GPU system interfaces. As part of the architecture team, you will collaborate with global software, hardware, and verification teams to develop innovative features. This position requires a strong understanding of GPU sub-system modules and their interactions within the overall system. You will also engage in post-silicon validation activities while continuously learning and growing in a diverse and encouraging environment.

Requirements

  • Recently completed a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Strong coding proficiency in C or C++.
  • Exposure to post-silicon validation activities.
  • Coursework or industry experience in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and/or system architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Understand how the GPU sub-system modules interoperate and interact with the overall system.
  • Architect and plan features in concert with software, hardware, and verification teams.
  • Create functional and performance models, often in C++, along with test plans to validate the features designed.
  • Actively support post-silicon validation activities.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
