Job description

NVIDIA is seeking an SDK Engineer to join the NVLink SDK group in Santa Clara. This role involves designing, implementing, and leading the development of major SDK features for next-generation networking products. The team focuses on cutting-edge networking technologies for AI, HPC, and cloud applications. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, aimed at driving data growth for some of the world's largest companies.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of C.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Background in Linux internals.
  • Excellent understanding of embedded software.
  • Strong analytical, creative, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Diligent and comfortable with multitasking in a dynamic environment.
  • Good social skills and ability to work as a teammate.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architecture and different software/FW design teams as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement new features in the core of NVIDIA Switch SDK.
  • Work in pre and post-silicon development environments of next-generation NVIDIA data center products.
  • Gain a deep understanding of system debugging, networking technology, and stacks.
  • Innovate and enhance NVIDIA’s SDK switching products to improve customer perception.
