NVIDIA is seeking a leader for the Data Center Storage Acceleration & Platforms team to optimize storage access on NVIDIA platforms. The role focuses on eliminating bottlenecks by enabling direct data paths for transfers between GPU memory and storage. The leader will collaborate with various teams to define reference storage platform designs and drive the storage acceleration roadmap. This position requires deep knowledge of data storage technologies and strong leadership skills.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of data storage platforms, databases, and vector databases.
- In-depth understanding of NVMe and high performance RDMA network protocols.
- Deep understanding of system level architecture including topologies and memory hierarchy.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Successful experience leading teams with complex products and competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s or preferably Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of industry experience, including 6+ years of team management.
Responsibilities
- Identify software and hardware opportunities that accelerate storage performance.
- Develop new driver features and C++/CUDA libraries.
- Drive alignment of the storage acceleration roadmap across systems and frameworks.
- Act as a spokesperson for the global team, championing initiatives internally and externally.
- Lead and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of team projects.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of NVIDIA’s reference storage platforms.
