Job description

The Lead Post-Silicon Validation Engineer will be part of the GPU Engineering Team at NVIDIA, focusing on the development of future GPUs for various markets including 3D graphics and deep learning. This role involves managing post-silicon bringup and characterization of memory systems for NVIDIA's GPU products. The engineer will serve as the primary contact for internal and external customers as well as DRAM vendors regarding silicon issues. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership in driving the GPU development cycle from concept to production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 12+ years of proven experience with at least three years working with memory systems in the lab.
  • Direct experience in taking an SOC/GPU from concept level to production.
  • Experience in DRAM and high-speed DRAM interfaces like HBM, GDDR, and LPDDR.
  • Ability to understand the Top N issues in a myriad of data.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and technical communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead post-silicon bringup, characterization, and productization of the memory system for NVIDIA's GPU products.
  • Develop, qualify, and work on compliance of memory system software and firmware.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers and DRAM vendors regarding silicon issues related to memory.
  • Contribute throughout the GPU development cycle from concept to tape out.
  • Facilitate decision-making by analyzing various factors in the decision process.
