Job description
The IT Technical Analyst - Senior role involves joining a team focused on Systems and Information Technology within a corporate organization in Columbus, IN. The position emphasizes translating business and technical requirements into effective solution designs while ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture and security standards. The analyst will work closely with infrastructure teams and developers to deliver high-quality application and infrastructure designs. Additionally, the role includes providing technical support and contributing to documentation and operational standards.
Requirements
- A college, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related subject is required.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience is required, with 3-5 years of experience.
- Extensive experience with the Nasuni Cloud NAS platform for file storage and cloud data management is necessary.
- Strong expertise in managing and optimizing NetApp storage solutions, including ONTAP, MetroCluster, and AFF systems is required.
- In-depth knowledge of NAS protocols (NFS, SMB, CIFS), storage networking, and SAN/NAS environments is essential.
- Experience with cloud integration and hybrid cloud architectures is needed.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes, including NetApp SnapMirror and SnapVault, is important.
- Solid scripting and automation skills, such as PowerShell or Python, are required.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, reusable solution designs.
- Deliver robust application and infrastructure designs by evaluating and selecting viable solutions.
- Accelerate delivery timelines and reduce costs by leveraging component reuse and automation.
- Partner closely with infrastructure teams, developers, and technical service providers.
- Ensure high-quality delivery by participating in design and code reviews.
- Strengthen testing outcomes by supporting test strategy development and execution.
- Improve system reliability and maintainability by analyzing existing applications and infrastructure.
- Provide level 3 technical support for critical issues and contribute to documentation.
