Job description
The Solution Engineer Principal will join the Systems/Information Technology team within the Corporate organization in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on aligning business needs with technology solutions, ensuring data integrity, and enhancing business processes. The engineer will lead the design and execution of data migration strategies and oversee the development lifecycle of key solutions. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential to validate requirements and troubleshoot system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Atlassian Cloud products in medium to large environments (1000+ users).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex business problems.
- Strong proficiency in Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Jira Automation, REST APIs, or similar tools.

- Strengthen business processes by recommending greater use of standard application functionality.
- Architect and deliver detailed technical designs and solution architectures for complex systems.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle to ensure reliable delivery of key solutions.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of solution options by assessing scalability and integration complexity.
- Enhance cross-functional alignment by collaborating with architects, process owners, and engineering teams.
- Elevate team capability and solution quality by coaching team members and participating in reviews.
