Job description

The M365 AIForward team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about AI and new technologies. This role involves hands-on coding and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance developer productivity. The team focuses on modernizing legacy services and adopting transformative technologies. Candidates should be excited to work collaboratively on market-changing ideas and help deliver impactful services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute in the face of ambiguity.
  • Lead identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
  • Hold accountability as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), mentoring engineers across products/solutions.
  • Work on-call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
