Job description

The Senior AI/ML Engineer in test automation is responsible for transforming Quality Assurance into a proactive, intelligent layer by leveraging Large Language Models and agentic workflows. This role focuses on building a 'self-healing' test harness to enhance the efficiency of continuous deployments. The engineer will collaborate with developers and data scientists to ensure testability is integrated into AI models and microservices from the design phase. The position emphasizes the use of advanced AI techniques to improve test generation, observability, and CI/CD processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AI/ML engineering and test automation
  • Strong knowledge of Large Language Models and their applications
  • Experience with frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and predictive test selection
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain 'self-healing' test frameworks that automatically update locators and scripts.
  • Implement agentic workflows to generate comprehensive test suites from Jira stories and PR diffs.
  • Build telemetry pipelines for anomaly detection and predictive risk analysis.
  • Leverage Generative AI to create high-fidelity synthetic datasets for testing.
  • Establish automated evaluation frameworks to measure the accuracy and safety of AI-driven features.
  • Architect intelligent gates within the CI/CD pipeline to optimize test execution speed.

Benefits

  • Employees at Goldman Sachs are often offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability coverage, generous vacation and holidays, and robust wellness resources such as EAP counseling, medical advocacy, on-site/virtual health services, and fitness support. Financial perks typically include retirement savings programs, live financial education, education support, and wealth-creation opportunities through equity awards and select investment programs. Many locations also provide family benefits (childcare resources, parental and family leaves, adoption/surrogacy support) and flexible work options like part-time schedules, job sharing, telecommuting, and alternate hours.
