Job description

As a Backend Engineering Manager at Apple Retail, you will lead a team of backend engineers responsible for building and operating critical systems that support store operations and customer experiences. Requirements

  • 10+ years of backend engineering experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience, including hands-on technical leadership
  • Advanced proficiency with Java or equivalent programming language
  • Strong understanding of application security principles, including secure API design and threat modeling
  • Experience building and operating backend systems in retail or consumer-facing technology environments
