Job description

As a Project Task Manager 1 or Staff Scientist at Arcadis, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on environmental consulting and remediation projects. This role involves supporting projects through all phases of site evaluation and remediation, providing opportunities for career growth in the environmental industry. You will work closely with project managers and technical staff to manage project budgets, conduct environmental investigations, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols. Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in the environmental industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Experience with environmental sampling and technical report writing
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Train and mentor Arcadis staff in the planning and execution of field work.
  • Support the development of conceptual site models and contamination delineation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures for you and your project team.
  • Write and review technical reports.
  • Help organize work schedules with Arcadis staff and subcontractors.
  • Produce cost estimates, forecast project spend, and review client invoices under the supervision of the Project Manager.
