JobsSenior Engineer - AI Agents and Systems
Job description
The Senior Engineer will play a pivotal role in deploying advanced AI agent frameworks and local runtimes on Windows and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs. This position involves leading the development of open-source AI agents to ensure they run efficiently and securely on consumer PCs. The engineer will collaborate with internal AI research teams and the OpenClaw community to optimize the ecosystem for autonomous agents. This role requires a deep understanding of system-level security and AI orchestration frameworks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Staff or Lead Architect role.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Deep understanding of Windows OS internals, process isolation, sandboxing technologies, and system-level security architecture.
- Proven understanding of LLM inference pipelines, GPU-accelerated computing, and experience running local models on consumer-grade hardware.
- Practical experience with modern AI orchestration and agentic frameworks and an understanding of multi-agent systems.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, particularly C++ and Python.
- Experience building virtualization, containerization, or robust sandboxing tools natively for the Windows ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead engineer for developing the agent frameworks natively on Windows environments.
- Shape the technical roadmap to bring always-on, self-evolving AI assistants to GeForce RTX PCs and laptops.
- Lead the engineering efforts to optimize the agent runtimes for Windows.
- Ensure that autonomous agents operate within thorough, policy-based privacy and security frameworks.
- Partner closely with internal AI research teams, driver teams, and the open-source OpenClaw community.
- Foster a collaborative engineering culture by mentoring other engineers and establishing best practices for AI agent deployment.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
