The Wifi / Bluetooth Software Engineer will be part of the Wireless Software group at Apple, focusing on developing and delivering Bluetooth and Wi-Fi software for various Apple products. This role involves designing state-of-the-art device drivers, performing hardware validation, and collaborating with multiple teams to enhance wireless connectivity solutions. The engineer will also troubleshoot complex wireless issues and integrate AI into engineering workflows. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in BSP/Device Driver development and debugging.
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Experience with Bluetooth/WiFi RF/Protocol.
- Deep understanding of multi-core embedded hardware systems and RTOS.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex wireless issues using AI-powered triage and root-cause analysis.
- Experience with generative AI and integrating AI into engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver Bluetooth and Wi-Fi software for multiple Apple products.
- Design and implement state-of-the-art device drivers for firmware.
- Perform board bring-up and hardware validation.
- Review hardware schematics and assist in hardware debugging.
- Support factory testing and resolve critical issues on-site.
- Perform modem software integration and stabilize the baseline.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, RF, protocol, and QA teams.
