The Systems Development Engineer II role within the Analytics ADC team focuses on delivering AWS Analytics cloud services in air-gapped environments. The team is dedicated to innovation, leveraging cloud computing and data technologies to enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will work closely with government customers to address their specific needs while driving technical issue resolution. This position requires a strong background in systems engineering and a current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- 1+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- 5+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Build innovative solutions and expand services into ADC regions.
- Influence technical strategy and architectural decisions within the team.
- Contribute to ticket resolution and infrastructure improvements.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve contentious issues.
- Develop, build, and operate AWS Agentic AI services.
- Lead teams to solve difficult technical problems related to AWS services.
- Facilitate deep-dive troubleshooting and technical post-mortem discussions.
