Job description

The Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in transforming spaces into functional corporate offices and product development centers within Apple's Places Construction team. This position requires a highly motivated individual with a unique blend of design vision, technical expertise, and project management skills. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of key capital projects, including high-design workplaces and complex laboratory fit-outs. The ideal candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience with a robust portfolio of complex construction builds.
  • End-to-end expertise across the complete project lifecycle from initial programming and design through final commissioning and closeout.
  • Advanced financial acumen with a proven track record of managing high-value project budgets.
  • Flexibility to travel to various project sites and vendor locations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of key capital projects.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for project delivery to partners and leadership.
  • Take projects from initial concept through design, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Coordinate with executive leadership, internal cross-functional partners, architects, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
