The EC2 Mac team is responsible for the entire product lifecycle of the public EC2 Mac offering, focusing on macOS images and control plane services. Engineers on this team must be strong owners, driving innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment. The role requires proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Go, Python, and C++. Collaboration with senior engineers and technical leaders is essential to define technical direction and deliver high-quality code.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the public EC2 Mac offering
- Drive net-new solutions to problems in a constantly evolving landscape
- Collaborate closely with EC2 Senior Engineers and other technical leaders
- Define technical direction and follow through with detailed analysis and designs
- Produce high-quality code in various programming languages
