The AWS Global Accelerator team is seeking experienced full-stack software development engineers to create new features for their globally distributed network service. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to enhance network performance for various applications. Candidates will have the opportunity to engage with AWS customers and contribute to the development of impactful features. The position emphasizes a culture of inclusivity and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience building complex software systems delivered to customers
- Experience in web services/cloud computing or telecommunications
Responsibilities
- Define, scope, design, develop, and ship features for the AWS Global Accelerator service.
- Make critical design decisions impacting various AWS services.
- Mentor and guide team members to solve complex problems.
- Drive improvements in availability and performance of public-facing APIs and provisioning workflows.
- Develop high-quality, testable, and maintainable software.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are met.
