Job description

The Product Data Scientist role at Google focuses on driving transformative growth within the Health Data Science Team by providing insights and analytics to enhance product usability and user satisfaction. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5 years of work experience with analysis applications and coding in Python, R, or SQL, or 2 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience with statistical data analysis, modeling, and causal inference.
  • Experience in extracting and analyzing large data sets with SQL and designing ETL flows.
  • Excellent programming skills in SQL and Python.

Responsibilities

  • Drive analysis to contribute to the development of an AI-powered personal health coach.
  • Inform key product decisions to improve usability and user satisfaction.
  • Conduct analysis and experimentation for full funnel optimization, focusing on subscription growth.
  • Deliver effective presentations of recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and automate reports and dashboards to provide insights at scale.
