Job description
The Director of UX Research for Search Verticals at Google will lead a team focused on enhancing user experiences across various search categories such as Travel, News, and Health. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a research-related field, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience managing research and insights teams.
- Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative user research methods.
- Experience managing content design teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of researchers developing insights for Search verticals.
- Drive the vision for transforming search verticals into AI-forward experiences.
- Partner with Search UX, Engineering, and Product Management leadership to develop user-centered strategies.
- Communicate research insights effectively to influence strategic decision-making at the executive level.
- Prioritize research initiatives in collaboration with partners and raise the quality bar for research methods.
