The Customer Engineer III role at Google Cloud focuses on driving business ramp for customers in the financial services sector. The engineer will work closely with customers and partners to clear technical blockers and facilitate deployment. This role is critical in helping clients realize value and expand their use of Google Cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience in deployment planning, orchestration, or change management.
  • Experience in programming languages, debugging, or systems design.
  • Experience engaging with, presenting to, or influencing technical stakeholders or executive leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and orchestrate a structured deployment plan across customer, professional services, and partner teams.
  • Employ coding, debugging, or systems design to resolve technical blockers and accelerate deployment.
  • Drive and track progress of the initial and ongoing ramp of workloads.
  • Identify expansion opportunities for new workloads within the account during project execution.
  • Drive sustainable product usage to help customers realize value on an ongoing basis.
