As a Cloud Data and AI Engineer in Professional Services at Google, you will guide Public Sector customers in developing, configuring, and deploying their data and AI solutions. You will work closely with customers to implement Google Cloud products, providing architecture guidance and best practices. The role involves consulting on data needs and designing solutions that include machine learning model development and deployment. You will also collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to enhance Google Cloud offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience with software development in Python, Java, or C++, and relational database technologies.
- Experience implementing data and AI solutions and providing technical leadership to business stakeholders.
- Active or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data producers, consumers, and engineering teams to understand data needs and design solutions.
- Analyze on-premise and cloud database environments for optimal performance on Google Cloud Platform.
- Design, build, and maintain data and AI solutions.
- Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, and technical presentations.
- Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
