  • 5 years of experience with full stack development, including back-end languages such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++, and front-end technologies like JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • Experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the high-level system design and implementation of scalable back-end logic and GenAI inference pipelines.
  • Manage project priorities, set deadlines, and ensure high-quality deliverables across the team.
  • Design and implement foundational enabling infrastructure that supports long-term product stability and growth.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact, collaborating with Product Manager, Data Scientist, UX, and UXR.
  • Oversee the implementation of complex end-to-end features on AI surfaces, ensuring seamless integration between search and ads systems.
  • Define the measurement framework, including experiment design and engagement metrics, to validate product impact.
  • Drive engineering best practices through code reviews, design docs, and technical guidance for junior and mid-level engineers.
