Job description

The Senior Digital Design Engineer will join the Semi-Custom Silicon products group at NVIDIA, focusing on NVLink Fusion technology for AI infrastructure System-on-Chips. This role involves working with a team of engineers to analyze architectural requirements and deliver high-performance RTL blocks. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely project completion and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with high-speed connectivity protocols such as NVLink, PCI-Express, Ethernet, UCIE
  • Proven track record of delivering high bandwidth datapath blocks such as data movers, protocol adaptors, network-on-chip, arbiters and schedulers
  • Deep understanding of ASIC design flows and methodology
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze architectural requirements and perform trade-off analysis for implementation
  • Deliver high performance, area and power efficient RTL blocks
  • Craft micro-architecture specifications and implement in high-quality RTL
  • Collaborate with chip architects, verification engineers, formal verification engineers, and SoC integration engineers
  • Identify potential IP solutions for specific use cases and assist in selecting, customizing and integrating the right IP solutions
