The Senior Network Engineer will be part of the Corporate Technology Team, responsible for deploying and supporting Bloomberg's internal IT systems, including the global corporate network. This role involves collaborating with the architecture team to deliver enterprise network solutions in a high-performance environment. The engineer will act as a technical leader, influencing design decisions and best practices across various networking technologies. The focus will be on enhancing network scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing network infrastructure in large-scale enterprise and data center environments.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale SD-WAN network design and implementation.
• Experience with high-end Arista and Cisco switching platforms.
• Hands-on experience with network segmentation, endpoint security, and firewalls.
• Proven experience operating and scaling EVPN/VXLAN environments in production.
• Deep expertise in BGP, VPN, VRFs, QoS, and multicast.
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining automated workflows for network infrastructure management.

• Drive global SD-WAN deployments and WAN transformation initiatives.
• Deploy and operate EVPN/VXLAN networks across data center and campus environments.
• Support strategic programs including Zero Trust Networking and network automation.
• Validate, refine, and operationalize network designs and security enforcement.
• Continuously improve existing network solutions for scalability and operational efficiency.
• Provide escalated troubleshooting support during incidents.
• Collaborate closely with network vendors to influence features and design decisions.
• Identify gaps in existing implementations and enhance network designs.
