The Senior System Software Engineer will join the Tegra system software group, focusing on developing and maintaining software for complex heterogeneous computing systems. The role requires strong C/C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of operating systems and kernel programming. • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of industry-related experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and object-oriented programming skills.
• Experience with low level / driver level programming.
• Understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Expert communication, interpersonal and planning skills.

• Design and develop tests and frameworks to efficiently validate and stress SOC/System throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Architect and drive new diagnostic software solutions for all phases of the product life cycle.
• Spearhead initiatives to improve efficiency, robustness, and user-friendliness of software for design validation and manufacturing screening.
• Participate in the debug and root cause analysis of complex board/system level failures.
• Communicate effectively with various teams, customers, and partners.
