Job description
The Senior System Software Engineer will join the Tegra system software group, focusing on developing and maintaining software for complex heterogeneous computing systems. The role requires strong C/C++ programming skills and a deep understanding of operating systems and kernel programming. The team is dedicated to powering sophisticated server products for diverse AI, HPC, and accelerated computing workloads. Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of industry-related experience.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and object-oriented programming skills.
- Experience with low level / driver level programming.
- Understanding of processor architecture fundamentals, preferably ARM.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Expert communication, interpersonal and planning skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop tests and frameworks to efficiently validate and stress SOC/System throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Architect and drive new diagnostic software solutions for all phases of the product life cycle.
- Spearhead initiatives to improve efficiency, robustness, and user-friendliness of software for design validation and manufacturing screening.
- Participate in the debug and root cause analysis of complex board/system level failures.
- Communicate effectively with various teams, customers, and partners.
