Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a System Design Engineer to join the Graphics Product Team. This role involves collaborating with hardware and software engineers to develop GPU and Tegra based products across various applications. The engineer will focus on optimizing product performance and cost while ensuring timely delivery. The position requires strong analytical skills and experience in PCB design and validation.

Requirements

  • B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in system design.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in PCB design and review.
  • Experience using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of Linux and comfort working in various Linux environments and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

  • Build system hardware products around GPU and Tegra SoC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance product cost, performance, and schedule.
  • Drive initial testing and bringup, leading the debug efforts.
  • Create schematics, supervise PCB layout, and conduct system validation.
  • Handle documentation required for product release to manufacturers and partners.
  • Optimize and invent circuits and functions for better performance and lower cost.
  • Improve the design flow in collaboration with the infrastructure team.
