Arcadis is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer Project Manager to join their team in Texas. This role focuses on driving technical excellence and leading project delivery in traffic engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traffic design and a collaborative leadership style. The position involves engaging with clients and overseeing project teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant traffic engineering and design experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with municipal clients and TxDOT, including familiarity with their design manuals and project delivery processes.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of traffic signal, signing and pavement marking, roadway illumination, and ITS design.
- Manage and conduct traffic engineering studies.
- Oversee client and stakeholder coordination, including consensus-building and presentation of technical recommendations.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate multidisciplinary insights into project plans.
- Support business development efforts by strengthening relationships with municipal and TxDOT clients.
- Help grow the Texas traffic design practice and mentor engineers to support their technical and professional development.
