·FY 2025Job description
NVIDIA is seeking experienced software engineers with a strong background in Kubernetes to enhance its AI infrastructure. The role involves working within the DGX Cloud team to develop and maintain large-scale GPU clusters for various AI workloads. Candidates should be innovative thinkers who thrive in a challenging environment and are passionate about Kubernetes and GPUs. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge infrastructure solutions that support AI applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role within a highly technical organization.
- Direct experience with Kubernetes APIs and frameworks, not just operating a cluster.
- A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable degree.
- Technical knowledge of systems programming languages such as Go or Python.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom software for scheduling GPU resources on Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring and health management capabilities for GPU assets.
- Collaborate with teams across NVIDIA to ensure reliable and high-performance AI clusters.
- Evaluate system failures and improve services based on incident management processes.
- Harness multiple data streams for diagnostics and telemetry related to GPU hardware.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
