Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to develop a robust cloud network infrastructure that supports various software development workflows and tools. The engineer will focus on creating a reliable and scalable network that caters to NVIDIA's diverse software stack, including graphics drivers and deep learning frameworks. This role requires expertise in large-scale networking and a proven track record in building and delivering extensive network solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture and design of the network while implementing automation and management strategies.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge in large scale IP Networking Technologies and protocols such as MP-BGP, OSPF, and VxLAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Peering and Datacenter interconnect technologies.
  • Ability to write and understand Python/Shell scripts for automation.
  • Understanding of network virtualization concepts like VRFs and VXLAN.
  • Strong track record of implementing network services in distributed computing environments.
  • 8+ years of experience in networking, particularly with Arista switches.
  • BS Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall architecture and design of the cloud network infrastructure.
  • Implement, manage, and troubleshoot entire network stacks.
  • Automate network infrastructure end-to-end including provisioning and monitoring.
  • Design and build large scale networks used by thousands of users.
  • Optimize high performance networks in large-scale, multisite environments.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
