JobsSenior Circuit Methodology Engineer
Job description
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Circuit Methodology Engineer to lead the design and improvement of in-house methodology applications. This role focuses on developing new tools and enhancing existing ones to support mixed-signal projects and circuit deliverable tracking. The engineer will collaborate with software development teams to integrate AI/ML capabilities into the tool ecosystem. The position aims to streamline multi-department flows and improve design quality while reducing tapeout cycle times.
Requirements
- BSEE, BSCE, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of working experience related to circuit design methodology, CAD/EDA development, or internal tools engineering for semiconductor design flows.
- Exposure to and experience with AI algorithms/flows and their integration into tools is strongly desired.
- Good understanding of mixed-signal or analog/RF design flows and the corresponding EDA ecosystem.
- Background in process/flow engineering aimed at tapeout schedule reduction and design-quality improvements is a huge plus.
- Coding experience is considered a benefit.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and collaborate with software development teams to implement new in-house tools.
- Identify, prototype, and collaborate with software development teams to deploy AI/ML capabilities into the tool ecosystem.
- Own and improve existing internal applications, ensuring they remain robust and maintainable.
- Define and drive tool integration into multi-department flows to streamline handoffs.
- Establish and communicate guidelines for tool usage, including onboarding and training processes.
- Add telemetry and metrics to measure adoption, usage, data quality, and impact on schedule and circuit design quality.
- Ensure that methodology tools actively improve mixed-signal build quality through better specifications and checks.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
