Job description

The role of an EPM at Apple involves driving the end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML and supply chain programs. You will work within the Business Process Reengineering team to enhance operational excellence and automation in Apple's supply chain. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to bridge various stakeholders and ensure high-quality launches. You will be responsible for managing technical roadmaps and collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent technical field and 8+ years of technical/engineering program management experience OR Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent technical field with 10+ years experience.
  • Previous experience with software engineering, GenAI, Machine Learning, AI, and supply chain/operations domains.
  • Proficiency with data acquisition tools including advanced SQL, Python, data visualization, and analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and tool-use patterns.
  • Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques.
  • Understanding of MLOps best practices including model deployment pipelines and CI/CD for ML workflows.
  • Experience managing feature roadmaps across interconnected systems.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technical programs from concept through launch.
  • Define program vision, multi-quarter roadmaps, clear milestones, and measurable success criteria.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to review and influence system architecture and long-term maintainability of solutions.
  • Proactively identify cross-team dependencies, risks, and trade-offs.
  • Establish mechanisms to monitor program health, including business-critical metrics and operational dashboards.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership through structured written narratives and program updates.
  • Continuously improve development and operational processes to increase velocity and reduce defects.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
