Job description

This role is for a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, focusing on designing and developing timer, alarm, and reminder features for Echo devices. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and testing

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain timer, alarm, and reminder features on Echo devices.
  • Drive technical design discussions and produce design documents for new features.
  • Ensure high availability and fault tolerance in various scenarios.
  • Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end test strategies.
  • Collaborate with Alexa cloud services teams for multi-device synchronization.
