The Software Development Engineer role in the AWS Lead Management and Account-Based Marketing Engineering team focuses on building a platform to manage customer leads using AWS technologies. The team aims to enhance the lead management process by ingesting, enriching, and scoring leads before passing them to sales teams. This position requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with global stakeholders to drive the software development lifecycle. Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 2+ years of building complex software systems experience.
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
Responsibilities
- Implement a scalable end-to-end technical design across all systems in the solution.
- Deliver validated conceptual architecture.
- Write and prioritize architectural enablement work items.
- Evaluate the technical feasibility of features.
- Define a migration plan from current to future state.
- Define environment setup and continuous integration/continuous delivery standards.
- Collaborate with product management, UX designers, and engineering on feature technical feasibility.
- Capture technical requirements ensuring the solution is secure, scalable, efficient, and responsive.
- Design an overarching solution and solicit buy-in from technical audiences.
- Deliver high-quality code and conduct peer reviews.
- Champion standards and best practices.
- Identify technical risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
