We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to lead the design and integration of electrical systems for high-degree-of-freedom robotic platforms. This role involves collaborating with mechanical, controls, and software engineers to ensure high-performance and reliable operation of complex electromechanical systems. You will play a key role in developing sophisticated perception systems and adaptive manipulation strategies for real-world applications.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 6-10+ years of experience designing and integrating electrical systems in robotics or complex electromechanical platforms.
• Proficient in PCB design using Cadence OrCAD/Allegro or similar tools.
• Experience in embedded controls, high-speed differential signaling, and power electronics.
• Hands-on experience testing, validating, and debugging hardware.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Familiarity with high-speed data protocols such as CAN and EtherCAT.
• Understanding of thermal design and safety design considerations in high-power robotic systems.

• Lead the design and integration of power distribution and embedded electronics for robotic systems.
• Own board layout of PCBAs and oversee bring-up and validation.
• Specify and design custom power electronics and power distribution boards.
• Design and route all cabling and wire harnesses across the robotic platform.
• Architect and integrate the robot’s battery system, including protection circuitry and battery management.
• Define and implement wiring and electrical interfaces for sensors and compute modules.
• Own prototyping and bringing up electrical designs and creating test and validation rigs.
