JobsiOS Engineer - Wallet
Job description
The Wallet Engineering team is seeking proactive software engineers to enhance the Wallet experience, which integrates various digital passes and payment solutions like Apple Pay. The team focuses on developing user-facing features for transit, access, identity, and provisioning, as well as financial products like Apple Card and Apple Cash. Engineers will work on innovative solutions that simplify and secure everyday transactions for users globally. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of strong programming skills, preferably with Swift and/or Objective-C
- 5+ years of user-interface programming experience
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Passion for product quality and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle dynamic project priorities
- Deep understanding of software architecture, performance optimization, and memory management across OS software layers
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience developing on iOS, macOS, and/or watchOS
- Experience incorporating AI tools into the development process
Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features for Wallet, including transit cards and digital IDs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Wallet experience
- Build and maintain frameworks that power Wallet across Apple's platforms
- Ensure a unified and intuitive user experience for all Wallet products
- Optimize software performance and memory management across various OS layers
