As a Fleet Remediation Project Design Mechanical Engineer at AWS, you will lead design projects in operational data centers to address issues, upgrade infrastructure, and add new services. • 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• 4+ years of commissioning experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer License.
• Experience with building codes and regulations for your region.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions that add infrastructure, improve availability, and increase sustainability.
• Perform design and equipment submittal reviews for data centers in your region.
• Interface with internal and external design engineering teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert during new remediation projects.
• Support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover of projects.
• Prepare and present progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
