Job description

The role is for a senior full-stack software engineer focused on building tooling for machine learning practitioners at Apple. The team is dedicated to developing internal systems for ML Model Management, Dataset Management, and Model Serving. The engineer will work closely with design, infrastructure, and ML engineering teams to create user-friendly interfaces that streamline complex workflows. This position emphasizes collaboration, rapid iteration, and maintaining high standards for quality and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience spanning frontend and backend systems
  • Deep proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as TypeScript and React
  • Strong design and UX craft with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into polished interfaces
  • Experience designing and consuming REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and container orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Experience building ML platforms and familiarity with ML workflows

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications for ML teams
  • Collaborate closely with design to create intuitive experiences for data-intensive workflows
  • Partner with backend teams to build and surface the right abstractions
