The SDE 2 position on the Delivery Experience Speed Tech team focuses on developing customer-facing features for sub-same day and ultra-fast delivery services. The team is dedicated to redefining fast delivery through innovative technology and programs. Engineers will work in a dynamic environment where their code directly impacts customer experience and delivery operations. Collaboration, mentorship, and a commitment to engineering best practices are key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications.
- Experience with programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of general AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software solutions for Speed delivery tracking and notifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer-facing features.
- Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Debug production issues and implement improvements.
- Contribute to the team's technical documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers on the team.
