Job description
We are seeking an innovative full-stack engineer to join our App Store Internal Tools team. This role involves working on app processing and internal tools that enhance the App Store experience for users worldwide. You will engage with systems impacting over a billion users while maintaining close contact with tool users. The position emphasizes quality, collaboration, and a healthy work/life balance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of current and industry experience with backend systems in Java
- Current and industry experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Current and industry experience with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related
- Experience in building and deploying server components and services is beneficial
- Experience in building message-based distributed systems is beneficial
- Experience with SOLR is beneficial
- Experience with Cassandra is beneficial
- Experience in building applied AI/Machine Learning applications is highly beneficial
Responsibilities
- Participate in building both frontend and backend systems for internal tools.
- Plan, present, and execute various aspects of app and app-related data processing.
- Work on intelligent recommendations and ensure backwards compatibility.
- Drive projects and maintain excellent communication with team members.
- Keep track of multiple technical systems and collaborate with various stakeholders.
