The Enterprise & Education Frameworks team is seeking a dedicated engineer to help build systems that manage configurations and restrictions on Apple devices used in educational and enterprise settings. This role involves influencing product features and implementing new OS-level functionality while collaborating with various teams across Apple. The engineer will work on creating innovative solutions that enhance the user experience without compromising device management capabilities. The team is committed to developing cutting-edge solutions for education and enterprise customers globally.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience with Object-Oriented programming concepts and languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, C++, or C#.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
  • Familiarity with designing and writing APIs for modules, libraries, or frameworks.
  • Familiarity with concurrent programming concepts and design patterns, including multi-threading, serialization, and locking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building systems that manage configurations and restrictions on Apple devices.
  • Influence product features and implement new OS-level functionality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Provide specifications to other components on how to make them configurable.
  • Support enterprise MDM capabilities and work on exciting features for education and enterprise customers.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
