• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of working experience with fiber optic components, cabling, and interconnect products, technologies, and standards
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience working with fiber, connector, or other ICT components in a lab or product qualification setting

• Collaborate with vendors to develop and evaluate new Fiber Optic assemblies and implementation plans.
• Define and update requirements for structured cabling systems for network layers at hyperscale data centers.
• Develop standards and installation guidelines for physical network and structured cabling deployments.
• Assist with troubleshooting problem areas in existing or new network architecture and propose impactful projects.
• Partner with fiber vendors and contractors to perform quality control and commissioning of fiber bundles.
• Perform mitigation analysis and site inspections to validate as-built conditions for compliance.
• Monitor network quality and build mechanisms to remediate large scale events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fiber connectivity and design.
• Maintain documentation, drawings, and asset records for physical fiber network components.
