The Mid-Level Electrical Engineer will be a key member of the San Antonio or Austin team at Jacobs, focusing on delivering complex electrical designs for various projects including commercial, federal, and higher education facilities. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power
- Strong working knowledge of Revit
- Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other NFPA codes
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design activities for various projects
- Support project managers in developing project scope and schedule
- Ensure technical quality and adherence to project timelines
- Communicate effectively regarding scope and design changes
- Produce detailed electrical design documents including diagrams and layouts
- Conduct local on-site field investigations and construction reviews
