The Mid-Level Civil Engineer will be a key member of the Cities and Places team at Jacobs, focusing on site civil engineering analysis and design for various projects. This role involves working collaboratively with clients and multi-disciplined design teams to deliver innovative solutions. The engineer will engage in assessing site features, designing utility systems, and providing construction support. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure and site civil design projects
- Strong background in plan production and project execution while leading design teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Perform site civil engineering analysis and design for a wide range of projects
- Produce technical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
- Assess site features and create site layouts, including utilities systems and pavements
- Provide construction support services during construction phases of work
- Collaborate with Senior Project Managers and clients to deliver project drawing and technical specification deliverables
