The Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer will join Jacobs' Building Mechanical team to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients. This role involves working closely with engineers and designers to perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages. The position is hybrid, allowing for flexibility in work location while focusing on cost-effective and transformative projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system design and a commitment to making a positive impact on communities.

• At least ten years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

• Layout and design HVAC systems.
• Develop conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems.
• Create Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
• Prepare final construction documents associated with HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success.
