Job description
As an Electrical Engineer at Arcadis, you will lead the electrical discipline for multiple data center projects throughout various phases including design and construction. You will be responsible for guiding design efforts and mentoring junior engineers in data center electrical design. This role requires collaboration with project teams and clients to ensure effective power distribution and safety standards. You will also engage in business development and maintain strong industry relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering.
- Consulting engineering design experience producing IFC drawings for data centers.
- State-issued professional engineering license preferred.
- Understanding of telecom and fire alarm design.
Responsibilities
- Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination.
- Design for available capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys and data collection.
- Perform various system studies including arc flash and load studies.
- Support proposal and business development efforts.
